THE COCOA-ROCKLEDGE GARDEN CLUB
The Cocoa-Rockledge Garden
Club was formed in 1927 and in 1928 became a member of the The Club is divided into three circles (groups) ...Dirt Daubers, Spade and Trowel and Straw Hat. Each circle meets on a different day of the week from September through May and anyone interested in invited to join. DIRT DAUBERS meets the second
Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the garden center. Membership is open
to anyone interested in joining. Call 452-7200 or 459-2278 for more SPADE AND TROWEL meets the third Wednesday of the month. They have a limited membership. STRAW HAT meets the second
Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the garden center. Membership is open
to anyone interested in joining. Call 636-5087 or 636-4232 for more YOUTH GARDENERS The Club sponsors a Youth Gardening group
that meets the first Thursday of the month at 3:45 p.m. at the garden
center. It is open to all children grades kindergarten through eighth. MEMBERSHIP
As a member of a garden club that is
affiliated with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., you become a member
of the National Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. This international
organization has a membership totaling oveer 265,000. As a member of the
Cocoa-Rockledge Garden Club you will receive our bi-monthly newsletter The Garden Plot
and the FFGC award-winning quarterly publiciation, The Florida Gardener.
